I cannot "open and run" .EXE files. How can I fix this problem?

I am running Kapersky AntiVirus at this time since it was a 30 day free trial and I could have them scan and fix "computer to computer". My computer is now considerably more stable, but I still have 2 bogus "security alert" pop-ups, and I cannot run the EXE files.

Remember**** I can't download CCleaner, or anything else in order to fix it. Please help!

You probably need to be more specific about what you're trying to run, how old it is, and what you're doing to execute it.

Normally, in a Windows environment, you arent' called upon to run exe files, just click the correct icon.

So tell us what you're trying to do.....
