How can I remove trend micro?

I used Trendmicro online scanner and now I can't download pc tools antivirus because it says that Trendmicro is already installed in my pc!!

If all you did was run the TrendMicro online scan, that shouldn't affect any other AV install as far as I can see.

Simple question: did you restart your system in between running the TrendMicro and installing the PCTools? Maybe a simple reboot will do the trick...

Start the computer in Safe Mode (f8) and goto control panel %26gt; add remove programs and uninstall Trend.

Don't use PC tools Antiviurs. They have just made a change to the software and it puts an item in the network settings that blocks internet connection and it is very hard to find the settings to modify this.

AD-Aware 2007 and Spy Bot 1.5 for Spyware.
