Norton antivirus 2007 is not updating its virus definition offline.plz help?

i downloaded the definition but always it gave me error on installation.i tried it on 2 PCs but same problem,i m using windows xp sp2 .online updating is perfect but offline error.

Sorry if someone told you Norton is good. If you go with either AVG or Avast (both free) you will find your computer will be better protected.

In addition run spy-bot and first update it then don't use the tea timer, next remove all it finds, then immunize.

I faced the same problem..try AVG 7.5..it will solve this problem

who told you to download the antivirus from internet? i see that the antivirus might be corrupted. try to install it from a cd (if u can get) or get AVG antivirus. but never download any antivirus from net
