I've just downloaded bt yahoo online protection suite and it gets to the end of the download and tell me to restart my computer which I do, then the dashboard pops up and tells me that the antispyware, antivirus and personal firewalls are not installed. I've retried the download several times to no effect!!

You need to be on option 2 or 3 for those. If you are, and you still can't download the protection suite, you should get in touch with BT.

You might try to see that the Internet Explorer add ons are enabled for all the BT Yahoo stuff. (Check via Tools, Manage Add-ons).
