I have downloaded IE7 several times and it always gives me the message it has encounted a problem and must shut down..it will not come back up without the same message..I stopped antivirus and spyware when downloading it..How do I get IE7 to work???

You must have genuine Windows XP w/service pack 2 to download; if not genuine, no download. Also, did you do all the updating of Windows before you tried to download IE7. You can go to the MS IE site to be sure your computer meets all the requirements for the download
