Avast Antivirus can easily be downloaded. You need to register into it to get the installation key. It actually found and deleted copy.exe, temp2.exe virus which Nortan could not delete.

I don't think there is a free prgrams these days. but the best solution is to download windows difender from www.microsoft.com, and you can download it only if your windows xp is original and not a copy. otherwise try to search for symantic antivirus corporate eddition, i think it's free
